Mr. Lewis began his career with C&W in 1992. He was named Industry Leader of the Hospitality & Gaming Group in 2005 and became a Managing Director in 2006. Mr. Lewis is focused on the valuation of hospitality (hotel, motel, conference center, timeshare, resort, and hotel condominium properties) related assets, completing hundreds of assignments across North America. A small sample of properties valued by he and the Hospitality & Gaming Group include the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Crowne Plaza Times Square in New York City; The Red Roof Inn portfolio, the Dolce portfolio of conference centers, the Fairmont portfolio of hotels and private residence clubs, and the Millenium Ritz Carlton hotels in New York, Boston and Washington, DC. Work scope also includes feasibility studies, market surveys and investment analysis. Prior to joining C&W he worked at Mason-Helmstetter, Associates in New Jersey from November 1987 to March 1992, preparing appraisals of residential, commercial and industrial properties. From September, 1985 to October, 1987, he was a Senior Auditor at Arthur Young & Co. working on the audits of Chesebrough Ponds, Inc., and Pan Am Corporation.

Mr. Lewis graduated Cum Laude from Lehigh University in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He received his Masters in Real Estate Valuation and Analysis from New York University in 1991. He has been involved in the appraisal of real estate since 1987.

During his tenure with C&W, Mr. Lewis has received various awards representing outstanding service within the organization. He urrently serves on the board of the Metro New York Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He was responsible for the organization of the most successful conference of the chapter’s history.

Mr. Lewis holds the MAI designation as well as appraiser licenses in several US States including New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Connecticut.
